Michael Gray was working out of Station 246 in Vancouver on April 4, 2008. While returning from hospital after dropping off a patient, Michael suffered an unexpected collapse at the wheel of his ambulance and subsequently collided with another vehicle. Michael had been employed with BCAS for 11 years.

Michael is survived by his father Simon, sister Nadine, step-mother Barbara, step-sister Leanne and step-brother Kevin.
